Building the Northern Territory
Collectively Contributing to the Territory Economy
Building the Northern Territory introduces the businesses that comprise the Darwin Major Business Group (DMBG) and the contribution they make to the Northern Territory’s economy.
The businesses featured in this publication represent a diverse cross-section of industries, including aviation, energy, workforce solutions, business events, construction, hospitality, tourism, property investment, aquaculture, mining, pearling, waste, manufacturing, restaurants and professional services. While each business has its own history and expertise, together they demonstrate a shared commitment to the Territory through long-term investment, enterprise and leadership.
Rather than serving as a membership directory, it highlights the breadth of capability, investment and experience that underpins DMBG’s contribution to economic development and public policy.
It forms part of DMBG’s broader publication program, which also includes Over the Horizon Opportunities Report, What the Territory Needs, Beetaloo Development Outlook, Facing North, government submissions and other strategic publications.
Business profiles have been prepared using publicly available information and reviewed by individual members prior to publication.
